Apps in OSX 10.15 and above must now get your permission before directly accessing files in your Documents and Desktop folders, iCloud Drive, and external volumes, so you’re always in control of your data.
In ACDSee Photo Studio for Mac, macOS will prompt you to confirm access permission as you browse to those locations for the first time after launching the program. Note that those folder locations may be automatically browsed on launch as part of folder discovery, so you may be prompted on launch even though you have not explicitly selected any folder.
Please click OK to allow access to that location
If you inadvertently click the "Don't Allow" button, ACDSee will not show any content in those locations. And the OS will not prompt the user for permission again.
To allow access again, please use the steps below
- Go to System Settings (or System Preferences) > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Files and Folders
- Find the ACDSee application, and check the applicable boxes to allow access.
If the issue remains unresolved, grant Full Disk Access to the ACDSee Photo Studio for Mac app using the steps outlined below:
- Navigate to System Settings (or System Preferences) > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access.
- Click the "+" and Add Full Disk Access for ACDSee Photo Studio.
