ACDSee uses a database to catalog images and media files on your computer. When you first install ACDSee, an empty database is created in a default location. ACDSee automatically adds file information and thumbnails to the database as you browse your folders.

The exact name and default location of the database folder depends on the Operating System and version of ACDSee you are using.
